What’s a roleplaying game and what do I need?

Of course!
When and where do you play?
We play at St Mark’s Church Centre, Archers Road, SO15 2LU. We play almost every Wednesday!
How does it work?
- Doors open at 6.30pm
- you’ll need to sign in the register for fire safety purposes
- If you need help finding a game, someone will help you and take you round
- games will start at 7pm (or whenever everyone is there and your Game Moderator (GM) is ready to go!) and plays through until between 9 and 10pm (depending on what happens during the session).
How much does it cost?
Sessions currently cost £5/evening. Your first time is free. GMs don’t pay.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes. Please remember that you’ll have to take takeaway boxes and containers home with you.
How often do you play?
Our goal is to play every week through the year with the exceptions of the two week Christmas period and the week before Christmas. We don’t have the venue the week before Easter but that’s 48 weeks per year of roleplaying!

Do I have to play every week?
No, if you can’t commit to turning up weekly, that’s fine. DO let your GM know in advance so they can plan around it.
What happens if I can’t come one week?
Send a message to your GM or leave a message on the Discord, or both. As much notice as possible please!
In the eventuality that you become completely “incommunicando”/ “ghost us” then we’ll give your spot to someone else.
