Dice and Dumplings:
Dice and Dumplings is a brand new venue for Southampton in 2023. Located on the first floor of Marlands Shopping Centre, it provides amazing Polish and European dumplings! Other food and drink is available. As you can see it is very geek-friendly and you can pick up Magic: The Gathering, Yugi-Oh and other collectibles here. It hosts The Southampton Guild of Roleplayers on Wednesday nights starting from the 16th of January 2023 and it also hosts card gaming tournaments on Friday nights.

Board In The City:
Board in the City is a board games café in Southampton. It’s “make do and mend” environmentally conscious aesthetic matches the charitable ambitions and social work of its owners.
The Venue is accessible with a ramp to get in and has accessible toilets.
Board In The City also provides food and drink along with table service whilst gaming.
It costs £5 for entry.

The Art House Café (closing March 2024)
A café dedicated to the promotion of Art and local artists in Southampton, the Art House provides food and drink, including a wide range of vegan food. The Art House in March 24 will be closing its doors and moving to being a “pop up” shop. A sad loss to the Arts in Southampton.

October Books is an independent book shop in Portswood. In addition to being an excellent source of hard-to-find and books you didn’t know you needed to read, it also has a room that is available for gaming.

Forbidden Planet
Forbidden Planet sells RPG books and comics etc. There is step-free access downstairs so that’s pretty good.

Dao. Inside the Marlands Shopping Centre, it has a wide variety of geek stuff imported from China.
Nerd World. Hidden inside the Nobacconists Vape Shop by Central Train Station, it stocks a variety of board games and other materials.
Warhammer AKA Games Workshop. It’s on East Street.

Southampton Sluggaz Roleplay are an adjacent to the Southampton Sluggaz wargaming group. They meet on Fridays at St Denys Community Centre.
Southampton On Board are a board gaming group. They meet at Board in the City on Mondays.

Pie Caramba
Based on Carlton Terrace, they provide a delicious range of pies, including vegan and vegetarian options. You can get pints of tea and there is an upstairs room which is begging to be used for gaming. Wide range of pop culture artwork and friendly staff. Accessibility is definitely a problem with no step-free access to the upstairs rooms.
